Villa Venturosa is situated on a hillside overlooking the sierra, also with a seaview towards Nerja. Stunning panoramic views in a very peaceful and secluded setting but not isolated.

The pretty white painted village of Competa is only 10 minutes drive away, where you will find plentiful bars and eating places to while away a few hours. There are also bakeries, supermarkets, greengrocers, chemists, banks etc. so all your self-catering needs can be met locally.

Near the village are endless trails in the National Park, where you can enjoy rambling, pony trekking or bike riding.

The coast is only 30-40 minutes drive away, where good sandy beaches, watersports, golf courses, a water park, magnificent caves and much more await your exploration.

Alternatively you can simply relax and enjoy the clean air, sunny blue skies and listen to the quiet around the pool, or doze in a shady spot and completely unwind.

A car is essential - although the villa is 1/2km from the tarmac, along a dirt track road,four wheel drive is not neccessary.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We will require a non-refundable deposit of 10% of your total holiday cost to secure your booking and then the full balance paid 8 weeks before departure.

A further deposit of 200 euros or £150 will be required on arrival to cover any breakages, damage or lost keys etc. This will be returned to you, after inspection, on departure, when you hand back the keys.

RENTAL NOTES

All linens and towels are provided and will be changed at the end of each week. (Please note that pool/beach towels are NOT provided)

If you require laundry facilities, there is a washing machine, iron etc for your use.

If you require any house cleaning during your stay, this can be arranged, on arrival, direct with the agent, and will be an extra charge, otherwise basic cleaning materials will be at your disposal.

All three bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans, useful during thehottest part of the summer. If you are renting during the winter months then the villa has full gas central heating and there is also a wood burning stove.

It is advisable to bring insect repellants as during June toSeptember the mosquitoes are active dusk to dawn (they are not malarial).

Please be advised that the sunshine is extremely powerful - our UV index in the hot months can exceed 10, in comparison the UK rarely goes above higher than 6, so please bring the appropriate sun protection and be careful with over exposure.

Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday and guests are asked to vacate by 10am to give cleaners time to prepare for the next guests, however, we can sometimes be flexible. For the same reason you may not be able to gain access to the villa until 3pm on arrival.

A welcome pack can be provided for a charge of 25 euros if required - this needs to be ordered when your booking is made.
Typical contents: 1 litre milk, 1 doz eggs, large loaf of bread, tub of margarine, jar of marmalade or jam, sugar, teabags, small jar instant coffee, 2 litres bottled water, 1 litre juice, 1 bottle red or white wine, 6 cans of beer. Variations or additions can be catered
for - just ask.

Please be advised that the pool will normally be closed between mid October until early May as the water temperature is too low to be enjoyable. If you have small children and worry about the danger of a pool - rest assured the pool area is totally fenced in such a way that you can control the access as you see fit.
